Scale Day 2021 - North Berks Radio Model Aircraft Society

What a day! Fabulous models on display, fabulous flying and company (and BBQ – huge thanks to John Bell!) and the weather was very kind too. Alan Miles provided an excellent, entertaining and informative commentary on events and trophies were kindly sponsored by Algar Electric Motors (thank you Colin). Quite simply, a top day, enjoyed by all. Congratulations to: John Dredge (Best Scale Model, Hawker Hind), John Bell (Best ARFT Scale Model, Stuka) and Colin Gardner (Best Scale Flying, Eurofighter Typhoon). We were lucky to have a flying display from Nigel Nixon (who won BMFA scale at the Nationals) flying his 1/5 scale Hanger 9 Ki-43 Oscar for us, taking us through a Nats Scale routine.
